#409 : Confrontations

1
00:00:12,610 --> 00:00:14,780
Qu'est-ce qui cloche chez les gens ?

2
00:00:18,139 --> 00:00:19,143
Je sais pas.

3
00:00:19,583 --> 00:00:22,062
J'essaye, je sais que je peux pas,
mais j'essaye

4
00:00:22,187 --> 00:00:25,737
de me mettre à la place de Charlotte,
et j'essaye d'imaginer

5
00:00:26,146 --> 00:00:28,246
comment on vit avec ça, et je...

6
00:00:29,906 --> 00:00:31,006
Je peux pas.

7
00:00:31,824 --> 00:00:35,324
Et je me dis, comment vivre après ça ?
Comment Charlotte...

8
00:00:36,663 --> 00:00:38,037
redeviendra Charlotte ?

9
00:00:40,638 --> 00:00:41,638
Vraiment,

10
00:00:42,528 --> 00:00:43,478
je sais pas.

11
00:00:43,603 --> 00:00:46,641
Et pour Cooper ? Il ne sait pas.
Et si elle ne lui disait jamais ?

12
00:00:46,766 --> 00:00:49,216
Que va devenir leur relation ?

13
00:00:50,113 --> 00:00:51,884
Tu crois qu'ils s'en sortiront ?

14
00:00:53,178 --> 00:00:54,278
Je sais pas.

15
00:00:56,114 --> 00:00:58,534
Je ne connais pas les réponses.

16
00:00:58,725 --> 00:00:59,725
Je sais.

17
00:01:01,486 --> 00:01:04,855
Mais on a bien fait ?
Aller à la police ?

18
00:01:05,705 --> 00:01:06,755
Ça, je sais.

19
00:01:10,218 --> 00:01:12,068
On a fait ce qu'il fallait.

20
00:01:29,381 --> 00:01:30,506
J'attends ici.

21
00:01:31,004 --> 00:01:32,475
J'ai un tas de mails à lire.

22
00:01:32,600 --> 00:01:34,468
C'est toi qu'ils veulent voir,
pas moi.

23
00:01:34,636 --> 00:01:36,220
Va voir ce qu'ils veulent.

24
00:01:39,088 --> 00:01:41,809
T'as peur, mais t'es venue jusqu'ici.
Allons-y.

25
00:01:41,977 --> 00:01:44,353
Voyons ce qu'ils ont
de nouveau, puis on pourra...

26
00:01:44,521 --> 00:01:46,355
J'ai pas peur. J'ai des mails.

27
00:01:46,523 --> 00:01:48,273
J'ai du travail. T'y vas.

28
00:02:03,790 --> 00:02:06,500
Ses amies Carrie et Becky
les ont eues l'an dernier.

29
00:02:06,668 --> 00:02:08,210
J'ai 4 mois de plus que Becky.

30
00:02:08,378 --> 00:02:09,828
Tout paraît normal.

31
00:02:09,953 --> 00:02:13,632
Il est normal
d'avoir ses règles entre 10 et 16 ans,

32
00:02:13,800 --> 00:02:15,676
et t'en as que 15,
donc t'inquiètes pas.

33
00:02:16,142 --> 00:02:17,442
Elles viendront.

34
00:02:18,242 --> 00:02:20,222
- Tiens.
- Que portes-tu là-dedans ?

35
00:02:20,390 --> 00:02:21,682
Mes livres,

36
00:02:21,850 --> 00:02:24,435
tous mes devoirs,
des trucs sur l'O.N.U.,

37
00:02:24,603 --> 00:02:27,396
les partitions du groupe de jazz,
et l'uniforme de foot.

38
00:02:27,564 --> 00:02:30,357
- On le laisse pas dans l'auto.
- Il contient toute ma vie.

39
00:02:30,525 --> 00:02:33,736
Le plus important étant mon carnet.
Je note tout dessus.

40
00:02:33,904 --> 00:02:35,785
Ça l'occupe donc je...

41
00:02:38,655 --> 00:02:40,242
J'ai besoin d'aide ici !

42
00:02:40,876 --> 00:02:42,703
- T'inquiète pas.
- C'est qu'une crise.

43
00:02:42,985 --> 00:02:45,498
Dégager les voies respiratoires
pour qu'elle respire.

44
00:02:45,666 --> 00:02:49,460
Décoller la mâchoire, ouvrir sa gorge.
Elle a pris ses médocs tard, ce matin.

45
00:02:49,628 --> 00:02:52,129
Elle doit les prendre à 7 h,
mais là, c'était 8 h 30.

46
00:02:52,297 --> 00:02:54,840
- Tout est dans mon carnet.
- Ça va ?

47
00:02:55,008 --> 00:02:57,384
Ce sera fini d'ici une minute,
comme toujours.

48
00:02:57,552 --> 00:02:58,552
C'est bon.

49
00:03:00,937 --> 00:03:02,537
Je veux tuer mon fils.

50
00:03:02,662 --> 00:03:03,891
Littéralement.

51
00:03:05,149 --> 00:03:06,977
Et pourquoi je le fais pas ?

52
00:03:07,145 --> 00:03:10,356
Des actrices pourraient jouer mon rôle
dans une série, et je veux pas,

53
00:03:12,060 --> 00:03:13,462
sauf Meryl Streep.

54
00:03:14,744 --> 00:03:15,903
Elle pourrait ?

55
00:03:16,071 --> 00:03:19,323
- Car je pourrais vraiment le tuer.
- Meryl Streep ne fait pas de séries.

56
00:03:19,491 --> 00:03:20,282
Zut.

57
00:03:21,285 --> 00:03:23,452
Parfois les enfants
ont du mal à dormir.

58
00:03:24,969 --> 00:03:27,074
- Comment tu le sais ?
- J'ai été enfant.

59
00:03:27,199 --> 00:03:28,446
J'amène Lucas à Cooper.

60
00:03:28,571 --> 00:03:30,229
Il va te dire que t'es folle.

61
00:03:30,354 --> 00:03:31,961
Je le suis car j'ai sommeil.

62
00:03:33,755 --> 00:03:36,423
Quelqu'un pour vous, Dr Wilder.
Sans rendez-vous.

63
00:03:44,226 --> 00:03:45,226
Quoi ?

64
00:03:46,105 --> 00:03:47,155
Qui c'est ?

65
00:03:52,149 --> 00:03:54,099
Je pense que c'est mon frère.

66
00:03:55,945 --> 00:03:58,175
S04E09 Can't Find My Way Back Home

67
00:04:13,901 --> 00:04:15,045
Content de te voir.

68
00:04:16,727 --> 00:04:17,715
Moi aussi.

69
00:04:17,883 --> 00:04:19,683
- Ça fait...
- Longtemps.

70
00:04:25,823 --> 00:04:26,807
Je suis Violet.

71
00:04:28,060 --> 00:04:28,934
Sa femme.

72
00:04:30,437 --> 00:04:32,387
Et nous avons un fils, Lucas.

73
00:04:33,700 --> 00:04:34,690
Je suis Adam.

74
00:04:36,133 --> 00:04:37,026
Enchanté.

75
00:04:39,196 --> 00:04:40,404
Je suis tonton.

76
00:04:41,281 --> 00:04:42,698
Que fais-tu ici ?

77
00:04:44,325 --> 00:04:45,409
C'est maman.

78
00:04:47,061 --> 00:04:48,162
J'ai du travail.

79
00:04:49,289 --> 00:04:50,289
Écoutez.

80
00:04:50,414 --> 00:04:52,791
Notre mère est très malade
et elle...

81
00:04:54,715 --> 00:04:55,836
On a besoin de lui.

82
00:04:58,657 --> 00:05:02,353
Je stimule différents endroits entre
les électrodes pour provoquer une crise

83
00:05:02,478 --> 00:05:04,307
afin d'identifier l'électrode,

84
00:05:04,432 --> 00:05:06,315
puis de localiser
la source des crises.

85
00:05:06,440 --> 00:05:08,941
Les neurochirurgiens ont
les plus beaux jouets.

86
00:05:09,334 --> 00:05:11,494
- Ça dure depuis longtemps ?
- Sept ans.

87
00:05:11,619 --> 00:05:15,582
Depuis un accident de voiture.
Elle a fait divers tests et traitements.

88
00:05:15,707 --> 00:05:17,816
- Aucun résultat.
- Et ce carnet ?

89
00:05:18,286 --> 00:05:21,170
Elle écrit tout ce qui concerne
les soins de sa mère.

90
00:05:21,295 --> 00:05:24,624
Médicaments, régime
et durée approximative des crises.

91
00:05:24,749 --> 00:05:26,659
Grosse responsabilité
pour un enfant.

92
00:05:26,827 --> 00:05:29,277
- Et le père ?
- Mort dans l'accident.

93
00:05:30,070 --> 00:05:31,705
Julie gère ça plutôt bien.

94
00:05:32,545 --> 00:05:33,540
Elle a 15 ans.

95
00:05:34,071 --> 00:05:35,626
Elle est trop jeune pour ça.

96
00:05:35,794 --> 00:05:38,003
Sharon la protège
du mieux qu'elle peut.

97
00:05:38,572 --> 00:05:40,464
Elle tient un carnet de crise.

98
00:05:40,632 --> 00:05:42,174
C'est pas une vie normale.

99
00:05:43,925 --> 00:05:44,802
Je l'ai.

100
00:05:45,058 --> 00:05:46,720
Je vérifie les tracés.

101
00:05:46,888 --> 00:05:48,514
- C'est pas normal.
- Lorazepam,

102
00:05:48,682 --> 00:05:50,557
et une 2e ligne de phénytoïne.

103
00:05:51,089 --> 00:05:52,434
Elle ne respire plus.

104
00:05:55,772 --> 00:05:57,356
Ça va aller maman.

105
00:05:57,941 --> 00:05:59,106
Ça ne marche pas.

106
00:05:59,231 --> 00:06:01,318
- Ça ne marche pas.
- Ça va aller.

107
00:06:02,445 --> 00:06:03,278
Alors ?

108
00:06:03,446 --> 00:06:05,030
- Tu vois la lésion ?
- Oui.

109
00:06:17,499 --> 00:06:19,074
- Pourquoi ?
- Je te jure...

110
00:06:19,199 --> 00:06:22,101
- Je t'avais dit de pas l'appeler.
- Je l'ai pas fait.

111
00:06:23,845 --> 00:06:25,495
Maintenant qu'il est là,

112
00:06:25,620 --> 00:06:27,257
je lui ai demandé d'attendre.

113
00:06:27,382 --> 00:06:28,668
Dis-lui de partir.

114
00:06:29,393 --> 00:06:30,889
Ta mère est très malade.

115
00:06:31,057 --> 00:06:34,080
Elle a de gros problèmes cardiaques
et les soins qu'elle reçoit...

116
00:06:35,687 --> 00:06:36,687
En prison.

117
00:06:37,239 --> 00:06:40,389
Ma mère est en prison pour meurtre.
Tu peux le dire.

118
00:06:44,130 --> 00:06:45,770
Je ne veux pas le savoir.

119
00:06:46,281 --> 00:06:48,682
- Ça te dérange de l'écouter ?
- Oui.

120
00:06:54,749 --> 00:06:55,873
Je veux pas savoir.

121
00:06:59,578 --> 00:07:00,669
Tu n'es pas seul.

122
00:07:02,924 --> 00:07:03,974
Je suis là.

123
00:07:08,880 --> 00:07:10,230
Je suis avec toi.

124
00:07:16,974 --> 00:07:18,604
- Bonne nouvelle.
- On y va ?

125
00:07:19,095 --> 00:07:20,564
Ils pensent tenir le mec.

126
00:07:22,542 --> 00:07:23,642
Il a parlé ?

127
00:07:24,464 --> 00:07:26,487
- Il a parlé ?
- Non, pas un mot.

128
00:07:26,925 --> 00:07:27,780
On y va ?

129
00:07:28,700 --> 00:07:30,850
Non, désolé. Tu ne comprends pas.

130
00:07:31,598 --> 00:07:32,451
Il est là.

131
00:07:33,111 --> 00:07:35,579
Identifie-le.
Choisis-le parmi d'autres hommes

132
00:07:35,776 --> 00:07:36,872
et ils l'arrêtent.

133
00:07:37,928 --> 00:07:38,957
L'identifier ?

134
00:07:40,293 --> 00:07:41,710
Je retourne au bureau.

135
00:07:41,878 --> 00:07:43,545
- Attends, il faut...
- Quoi ?

136
00:07:44,713 --> 00:07:46,163
Que dois-je faire ?

137
00:07:47,513 --> 00:07:48,926
Je serai avec toi.

138
00:07:49,633 --> 00:07:51,853
C'est ta chance de l'arrêter.
Ce sera fini.

139
00:07:51,978 --> 00:07:53,972
C'est fini. Je ne veux pas.

140
00:07:55,016 --> 00:07:56,066
Tu viens ?

141
00:07:56,685 --> 00:07:58,393
Dans ce cas, je pars sans toi.

142
00:08:08,380 --> 00:08:10,104
Il existe une nouvelle procédure.

143
00:08:10,229 --> 00:08:13,450
On insère une sonde dans le cerveau
pour trouver la cicatrice

144
00:08:13,618 --> 00:08:15,206
qui provoque la crise.

145
00:08:15,331 --> 00:08:19,335
La sonde émet des ondes radio qui
chauffent et suppriment la cicatrice.

146
00:08:19,460 --> 00:08:21,280
Elle va brûler mon cerveau ?

147
00:08:21,544 --> 00:08:23,012
Je vais ôter l'origine du mal.

148
00:08:23,137 --> 00:08:25,712
Plus de cicatrice, plus de crise.

149
00:08:25,880 --> 00:08:27,214
Ça va les supprimer ?

150
00:08:27,382 --> 00:08:28,882
Ce n'est pas si simple.

151
00:08:29,351 --> 00:08:30,467
La cicatrice

152
00:08:30,635 --> 00:08:33,846
qui provoque les crises est proche
du centre moteur du cerveau.

153
00:08:34,318 --> 00:08:35,472
C'est-à-dire ?

154
00:08:35,640 --> 00:08:36,890
Elle va expliquer.

155
00:08:37,849 --> 00:08:39,643
Elle pourrait être paralysée.

156
00:08:40,134 --> 00:08:43,030
Avoir une aphasie,
une difficulté à parler ou comprendre.

157
00:08:43,155 --> 00:08:45,440
Et une cécité partielle
dans de très rares cas.

158
00:08:45,608 --> 00:08:47,651
Mais ce sont des cas extrêmes.

159
00:08:47,819 --> 00:08:50,487
Le plus probable.
On enlève, plus de crises et ça va bien.

160
00:08:51,226 --> 00:08:53,490
Et si on n'opère pas ?

161
00:08:53,658 --> 00:08:55,102
Ça pourrait s'aggraver.

162
00:08:55,227 --> 00:08:57,895
Vous pourriez tomber, vous blesser.

163
00:08:58,020 --> 00:09:01,019
Et si les crises continuent
avec la même intensité,

164
00:09:01,144 --> 00:09:03,746
les atteintes au cerveau
seront irréversibles.

165
00:09:03,871 --> 00:09:06,003
Paralysée aujourd'hui
ou démente demain.

166
00:09:06,171 --> 00:09:07,349
Charmant choix.

167
00:09:07,474 --> 00:09:10,491
Combien de temps
avant ces dommages irréparables ?

168
00:09:10,616 --> 00:09:11,717
10, 15 ans.

169
00:09:13,979 --> 00:09:14,928
Dans 10 ans,

170
00:09:15,397 --> 00:09:16,697
tu auras 25 ans.

171
00:09:17,432 --> 00:09:18,974
Vous pouvez attendre.

172
00:09:19,467 --> 00:09:22,083
Et la faire dans un an, cinq ans.

173
00:09:22,208 --> 00:09:23,478
Et que ça s'aggrave.

174
00:09:23,646 --> 00:09:24,980
Tout dépend de vous.

175
00:09:26,446 --> 00:09:27,733
Je peux vous guérir.

176
00:09:35,166 --> 00:09:36,325
Pas d'opération.

177
00:09:38,415 --> 00:09:40,829
Il y a un risque
que ça se passe mal.

178
00:09:41,180 --> 00:09:44,080
Mais il y a plus de chance
que vous guérissiez.

179
00:09:44,584 --> 00:09:46,335
- Totalement.
- Sharon est claire.

180
00:09:49,534 --> 00:09:50,684
Toi et moi...

181
00:09:52,290 --> 00:09:54,593
On s'en sort bien actuellement.

182
00:09:58,011 --> 00:09:59,014
Oui c'est vrai.

183
00:10:10,834 --> 00:10:13,682
- Tu n'es pas neurochirurgien.
- Tu promettais de la guérir.

184
00:10:13,807 --> 00:10:15,405
Parce que c'est vrai.

185
00:10:15,573 --> 00:10:16,907
Je suis neurochirurgien.

186
00:10:17,075 --> 00:10:18,533
Ton truc, c'est les vagins.

187
00:10:20,755 --> 00:10:22,788
Qu'arrivera-t-il à Julie
si ça se passe mal ?

188
00:10:22,956 --> 00:10:25,249
Et qu'arrivera-t-il
à la mère si je n'opère pas ?

189
00:10:25,417 --> 00:10:26,500
Maintenant, rien.

190
00:10:26,668 --> 00:10:27,937
Quel est le risque ?

191
00:10:28,062 --> 00:10:31,380
La mère pourrait être
paralysée ou aveugle.

192
00:10:31,548 --> 00:10:32,673
Et donc,

193
00:10:32,841 --> 00:10:36,551
sa fille de 15 ans devra s'en occuper
alors que ce devrait être l'inverse.

194
00:10:36,719 --> 00:10:38,053
Il vaut mieux avoir cinq

195
00:10:38,221 --> 00:10:40,021
ou dix bonnes années
que rien du tout.

196
00:10:40,146 --> 00:10:42,266
Elles auraient toute la vie,
pas quelques années.

197
00:10:42,434 --> 00:10:44,309
La fille souhaite l'opération ?

198
00:10:45,158 --> 00:10:46,645
Elle écoute sa mère.

199
00:10:47,901 --> 00:10:50,524
Elle nous a écoutées
et elle a décidé.

200
00:10:50,692 --> 00:10:53,694
- Tu as déformé la réalité.
- J'ai donné un avis professionnel.

201
00:10:53,862 --> 00:10:56,115
Comme je disais,
tu n'es pas neurochirurgien.

202
00:11:03,543 --> 00:11:05,080
L'avez-vous dit à Cooper ?

203
00:11:06,183 --> 00:11:08,166
- Quoi ?
- Absolument pas.

204
00:11:09,890 --> 00:11:12,337
Je ne lui ai rien dit
mais j'ai informé la police.

205
00:11:15,555 --> 00:11:17,467
Ils m'ont demandé
de parler à un type

206
00:11:17,635 --> 00:11:18,927
la nuit de ton...

207
00:11:19,672 --> 00:11:21,263
Il a avoué une agression.

208
00:11:21,431 --> 00:11:23,098
Il a été arrêté près de l'hôpital.

209
00:11:27,909 --> 00:11:28,937
Sheldon sait.

210
00:11:30,056 --> 00:11:31,690
À qui ne l'avez-vous pas dit ?

211
00:11:36,446 --> 00:11:38,322
J'ai envoyé les prélèvements
à la police.

212
00:11:38,490 --> 00:11:40,574
T'as dit pas de kit de viol, mais...

213
00:11:40,742 --> 00:11:43,160
- T'as fait ça ?
- T'étais en état de choc.

214
00:11:43,328 --> 00:11:45,287
- Il fallait garder les options.
- Ferme-la.

215
00:11:46,080 --> 00:11:47,080
Ferme-la.

216
00:11:51,586 --> 00:11:53,045
Ils n'ont qu'à l'arrêter.

217
00:11:53,213 --> 00:11:54,880
Pas sans l'aide de Charlotte.

218
00:11:57,871 --> 00:11:59,301
Voilà pourquoi tu es là.

219
00:11:59,784 --> 00:12:00,719
Pour maman.

220
00:12:00,887 --> 00:12:04,264
J'ai bien pensé à te recontacter.
Toi aussi sûrement.

221
00:12:06,939 --> 00:12:07,851
Elle meurt.

222
00:12:08,363 --> 00:12:09,766
Lentement, mais elle meurt.

223
00:12:09,891 --> 00:12:12,230
Et tout le monde s'en fiche.
Tu peux l'aider.

224
00:12:13,198 --> 00:12:14,107
Comment ?

225
00:12:15,365 --> 00:12:17,110
Libération pour raison humanitaire.

226
00:12:20,938 --> 00:12:22,699
J'ai bien pensé à t'appeler.

227
00:12:23,209 --> 00:12:26,078
Tous nos problèmes sont de sa faute.

228
00:12:26,246 --> 00:12:29,098
Mais que tu débarques après
des années en me culpabilisant...

229
00:12:29,223 --> 00:12:31,416
Il n'y a rien de mal
dans ma demande.

230
00:12:33,443 --> 00:12:34,461
Va la voir.

231
00:12:36,651 --> 00:12:38,548
C'est tout ce que je te demande.

232
00:12:46,783 --> 00:12:49,267
- Tu dois la convaincre de l'identifier.
- Arrête.

233
00:12:49,435 --> 00:12:51,311
Elle ne m'écoute pas, toi peut-être.

234
00:12:51,479 --> 00:12:52,783
C'est pas mon rôle.

235
00:12:52,908 --> 00:12:54,815
- Elle m'a rien demandé.
- Ça te dérange ?

236
00:12:56,429 --> 00:12:58,110
Tu as bien poursuivi Katie.

237
00:12:59,126 --> 00:13:00,445
Je voulais me venger.

238
00:13:00,613 --> 00:13:01,571
C'était juste.

239
00:13:01,739 --> 00:13:05,116
Au final, ça m'aurait fait plus de mal
alors je l'ai pardonnée.

240
00:13:05,241 --> 00:13:07,223
Charlotte doit avoir le même choix.

241
00:13:07,348 --> 00:13:11,248
Je la connais.
Elle doit lui dire en face c'était vous.

242
00:13:17,009 --> 00:13:19,159
Il paraît que tu as de la visite.

243
00:13:19,816 --> 00:13:21,383
Difficile d'avoir un secret ici.

244
00:13:22,228 --> 00:13:23,593
J'ai été surpris.

245
00:13:25,842 --> 00:13:27,931
Tu n'as jamais dit
que tu avais un frère.

246
00:13:28,099 --> 00:13:30,350
Je ne lui ai pas parlé
depuis longtemps,

247
00:13:30,518 --> 00:13:32,118
pas depuis que ma mère...

248
00:13:34,835 --> 00:13:37,135
Ma mère est en prison, pour meurtre.

249
00:13:43,137 --> 00:13:44,156
C'est pas vrai.

250
00:13:44,324 --> 00:13:46,968
Elle est malade.
Il arrive à l'improviste.

251
00:13:47,093 --> 00:13:49,077
Il veut lui obtenir
une remise de peine.

252
00:13:49,934 --> 00:13:50,996
Tu vas accepter ?

253
00:13:51,550 --> 00:13:52,800
Je ne sais pas.

254
00:13:53,612 --> 00:13:54,791
Comment est ta mère ?

255
00:13:57,179 --> 00:13:59,087
Je ne sais pas. C'est une mère.

256
00:14:00,775 --> 00:14:01,779
Ma mère...

257
00:14:02,625 --> 00:14:03,842
c'est pas un ange.

258
00:14:06,650 --> 00:14:10,557
Ma mère disait toujours,
"les gens font du mieux qu'ils peuvent".

259
00:14:10,891 --> 00:14:12,434
Elle n'a rien fait de bien.

260
00:14:13,215 --> 00:14:14,227
Elle a changé ?

261
00:14:14,395 --> 00:14:17,147
- Je ne sais pas.
- Des fois, les gens te surprennent.

262
00:14:28,576 --> 00:14:29,726
Des devoirs ?

263
00:14:31,391 --> 00:14:32,913
Mon exposé sur l'ONU.

264
00:14:34,199 --> 00:14:37,167
C'est beaucoup de boulot,
sans parler de ce qui arrive à ta mère.

265
00:14:38,163 --> 00:14:39,211
J'ai connu pire.

266
00:14:42,083 --> 00:14:44,533
J'avais 5 ans
quand mon père est mort.

267
00:14:46,063 --> 00:14:47,886
Je m'inquiétais toujours
pour ma mère...

268
00:14:50,172 --> 00:14:51,348
Elle était triste.

269
00:14:52,595 --> 00:14:54,495
Il lui manquait beaucoup.

270
00:14:55,901 --> 00:14:57,501
J'ai grandi trop vite.

271
00:14:59,302 --> 00:15:01,900
Elle me trouvait toujours
des occupations,

272
00:15:02,068 --> 00:15:03,902
- pour ne pas m'inquiéter.
- Pareil.

273
00:15:04,070 --> 00:15:05,654
J'étais occupée et inquiète

274
00:15:05,822 --> 00:15:07,122
et finalement...

275
00:15:09,939 --> 00:15:11,439
ça faisait beaucoup.

276
00:15:14,560 --> 00:15:15,997
Je m'inquiète tous les jours.

277
00:15:18,958 --> 00:15:20,358
Julie, écoute-moi.

278
00:15:21,020 --> 00:15:22,420
Cette opération...

279
00:15:23,524 --> 00:15:26,974
Ta mère pourrait continuer à vivre
sans crise d'épilepsie.

280
00:15:28,678 --> 00:15:30,053
Elle refuse l'opération.

281
00:15:32,778 --> 00:15:34,057
Je veux ce qu'elle veut.

282
00:15:45,378 --> 00:15:47,316
Ne te fais pas de faux espoirs.

283
00:15:47,441 --> 00:15:48,655
Si tu changes d'avis,

284
00:15:48,823 --> 00:15:51,449
tu peux toujours partir sans la voir.
Tu en as le droit.

285
00:15:52,205 --> 00:15:54,619
- Tu ne veux pas que je t'accompagne ?
- Non, ça va aller.

286
00:15:55,026 --> 00:15:57,581
- Mais merci.
- Je peux faire autre chose ?

287
00:15:58,415 --> 00:15:59,780
À mon retour ce soir,

288
00:15:59,905 --> 00:16:02,168
je veux...
de la nudité,

289
00:16:02,587 --> 00:16:03,837
toute sorte de nudité.

290
00:16:04,153 --> 00:16:04,963
D'accord.

291
00:16:07,946 --> 00:16:09,173
Je suis fière de toi.

292
00:16:25,108 --> 00:16:26,109
Que veux-tu ?

293
00:16:27,182 --> 00:16:29,571
J'ai quelque chose à te dire
que tu refuses d'entendre.

294
00:16:29,849 --> 00:16:31,281
Alors pourquoi le dire ?

295
00:16:32,069 --> 00:16:34,169
Tu peux écouter, s'il te plaît ?

296
00:16:38,906 --> 00:16:40,248
Tu as une minute.

297
00:16:48,898 --> 00:16:50,698
Quand ils ont poursuivi...

298
00:16:53,274 --> 00:16:54,387
mon violeur,

299
00:16:55,697 --> 00:16:57,910
il y avait cette femme qui était là.

300
00:16:58,035 --> 00:16:59,392
Elle regardait,

301
00:16:59,560 --> 00:17:03,460
elle écoutait ce que j'avais enduré,
et elle venait tous les jours.

302
00:17:03,817 --> 00:17:06,687
Et à la fin du procès,
elle m'a interpellée,

303
00:17:06,812 --> 00:17:08,412
et elle m'a remerciée,

304
00:17:09,066 --> 00:17:11,905
d'avoir eu le courage
qu'elle n'avait pas eu.

305
00:17:13,431 --> 00:17:15,231
Il s'avérait qu'il l'avait

306
00:17:15,929 --> 00:17:16,993
violée aussi

307
00:17:17,565 --> 00:17:19,065
six mois auparavant.

308
00:17:19,710 --> 00:17:21,160
Et je l'ai regardé,

309
00:17:22,124 --> 00:17:23,574
et j'aurai voulu...

310
00:17:25,711 --> 00:17:26,711
la gifler.

311
00:17:27,343 --> 00:17:28,445
Car je savais

312
00:17:28,570 --> 00:17:30,567
que si elle avait pris les devants

313
00:17:30,692 --> 00:17:32,092
alors peut-être...

314
00:17:33,125 --> 00:17:35,637
- Il m'aurait pas violée.
- Va te faire voir.

315
00:17:37,175 --> 00:17:39,161
L'identification est importante.

316
00:17:39,286 --> 00:17:42,536
Même si c'est dur,
je peux te dire par expérience,

317
00:17:42,842 --> 00:17:44,104
qu'il faut le faire.

318
00:17:44,272 --> 00:17:45,422
Temps écoulé.

319
00:17:45,805 --> 00:17:46,805
Vas-t-en.

320
00:18:34,386 --> 00:18:36,114
J'espérais que tu viendrais.

321
00:18:52,125 --> 00:18:54,424
Tu as l'air en forme.
Tu t'es étoffé.

322
00:18:54,779 --> 00:18:56,096
C'est Pete maintenant.

323
00:18:57,900 --> 00:18:59,220
Ce costume te va bien.

324
00:18:59,821 --> 00:19:02,671
Des douleurs à la poitrine,
des palpitations ?

325
00:19:03,517 --> 00:19:06,102
Adam m'a dit que tu étais remarié
et que tu avais un fils.

326
00:19:07,892 --> 00:19:09,689
Parle-moi de ta famille.

327
00:19:10,986 --> 00:19:12,400
Sa femme est médecin.

328
00:19:13,669 --> 00:19:15,619
Et leur fils s'appelle Lucas.

329
00:19:17,099 --> 00:19:18,281
Joli prénom.

330
00:19:20,911 --> 00:19:22,285
Ton dossier est un foutoir.

331
00:19:22,955 --> 00:19:24,537
Est-ce qu'un médecin a déjà parlé

332
00:19:24,705 --> 00:19:27,359
de tension, de cholestérol
ou de triglycérides trop élevés ?

333
00:19:27,541 --> 00:19:29,125
J'ai du mal à voir un médecin.

334
00:19:29,501 --> 00:19:31,085
Ils font pas attention à moi.

335
00:19:31,348 --> 00:19:34,881
Quand tu es vieux et en prison,
quelqu'un vient,

336
00:19:35,324 --> 00:19:37,024
vérifie que tu respires,

337
00:19:37,718 --> 00:19:38,802
puis il s'en va.

338
00:19:38,970 --> 00:19:40,595
C'est pourquoi Pete est ici,

339
00:19:41,057 --> 00:19:42,639
car ils ne te soignent pas

340
00:19:42,807 --> 00:19:44,280
et tu ne vas pas bien.

341
00:19:44,405 --> 00:19:45,683
Laisse-la s'exprimer.

342
00:19:46,349 --> 00:19:47,352
Il a raison.

343
00:19:47,520 --> 00:19:48,686
Il fait son boulot.

344
00:19:48,854 --> 00:19:50,897
- Laisse-le.
- Tu fumes et bois encore ?

345
00:19:53,109 --> 00:19:55,151
- Officieusement.
- Pas de gros changements.

346
00:19:56,363 --> 00:19:58,071
Même si tu as beau essayer.

347
00:20:04,151 --> 00:20:06,079
On est de nouveau ensemble.

348
00:20:06,654 --> 00:20:07,954
Tu es médecin.

349
00:20:09,005 --> 00:20:10,041
Il est avocat.

350
00:20:11,335 --> 00:20:12,710
Tu aurais pu l'imaginer ?

351
00:20:15,920 --> 00:20:16,923
C'est super.

352
00:20:19,510 --> 00:20:21,177
Désolée, je ne voulais pas...

353
00:20:22,346 --> 00:20:23,346
Désolée.

354
00:20:44,307 --> 00:20:45,159
D'accord.

355
00:20:46,143 --> 00:20:48,431
- Pour ?
- L'identification.

356
00:20:56,409 --> 00:20:58,840
J'appellerai l'inspecteur Price.
Quand veux-tu y aller ?

357
00:20:59,008 --> 00:21:00,675
J'aimerais y aller avec Violet.

358
00:21:03,671 --> 00:21:05,513
- Pourquoi ?
- Elle est passée par là...

359
00:21:06,514 --> 00:21:07,515
avec Katie.

360
00:21:07,683 --> 00:21:10,103
Ce sera plus facile
de l'avoir à mes côtés.

361
00:21:11,477 --> 00:21:12,478
C'est bon ?

362
00:21:13,741 --> 00:21:15,772
Oui, bien sûr. Peu importe.

363
00:21:21,067 --> 00:21:22,567
Elle est différente.

364
00:21:24,017 --> 00:21:26,413
35 ans en prison, ça l'a changée.

365
00:21:26,980 --> 00:21:29,275
- C'est sûr.
- Ça ne change pas ce qui s'est passé.

366
00:21:29,400 --> 00:21:30,980
C'est pas ce que j'ai dit.

367
00:21:31,837 --> 00:21:34,487
Mais on peut pas
la laisser mourir là-bas.

368
00:21:35,951 --> 00:21:37,801
Il y a eu des bons moments.

369
00:21:38,179 --> 00:21:39,655
Tu te souviens de la piscine ?

370
00:21:39,780 --> 00:21:43,009
On allait nager chez M. Kramer
chaque fois qu'il quittait la ville.

371
00:21:43,177 --> 00:21:45,934
- On entrait par effraction.
- Oui, mais juste pour nager.

372
00:21:46,059 --> 00:21:47,187
Tu aimais ça.

373
00:21:47,312 --> 00:21:48,411
On aimait tous.

374
00:21:49,005 --> 00:21:50,205
Un soir d'été,

375
00:21:50,569 --> 00:21:52,671
nous trois dans la piscine,
on rigolait...

376
00:21:52,796 --> 00:21:54,062
- Arrête ça.
- Quoi ?

377
00:21:54,230 --> 00:21:56,185
Tu fais ses éloges
comme un concessionnaire.

378
00:21:56,310 --> 00:21:58,895
J'étais là. Je me souviens de tout.
C'est le problème.

379
00:21:59,159 --> 00:22:00,310
Je n'ai rien oublié.

380
00:22:00,435 --> 00:22:03,638
Peut-être aurait-elle agi autrement
ou peut-être pas. Je l'ignore.

381
00:22:04,016 --> 00:22:05,217
Tu sais quoi ?

382
00:22:06,695 --> 00:22:08,952
Tu peux faire quelque chose
pour la famille.

383
00:22:09,615 --> 00:22:10,995
Si c'est pas pour elle,

384
00:22:11,329 --> 00:22:12,329
d'accord.

385
00:22:12,933 --> 00:22:14,415
Mais fais-le pour moi.

386
00:22:22,883 --> 00:22:25,468
J'ai parlé à Julie, elle aimerait
que sa mère se fasse opérer.

387
00:22:26,359 --> 00:22:30,014
Déjà tu n'aurais pas dû lui parler
sans le consentement de sa mère.

388
00:22:32,258 --> 00:22:33,908
Ensuite, t'en es sûre ?

389
00:22:34,186 --> 00:22:36,437
- C'était implicite, mais je le sais.
- Peu importe.

390
00:22:36,605 --> 00:22:38,773
- Sharon refuse.
- Sharon refuse

391
00:22:38,941 --> 00:22:41,025
à cause de Julie,
car tu l'as effrayée

392
00:22:41,193 --> 00:22:44,070
lui laissant croire
qu'elle ne pensait pas à sa fille.

393
00:22:44,238 --> 00:22:45,321
Si on fait rien,

394
00:22:45,749 --> 00:22:48,408
Julie se réveillera dans dix ans,
sa mère sera un légume.

395
00:22:48,576 --> 00:22:50,076
Mais Julie sera adulte.

396
00:22:50,244 --> 00:22:51,494
Je suis adulte.

397
00:22:53,942 --> 00:22:55,748
Mon père devrait-il
moins me manquer ?

398
00:22:56,522 --> 00:22:58,292
Il ne m'a pas vue
devenir chirurgien.

399
00:22:58,460 --> 00:23:01,334
Il ne me conduira pas à l'autel.
Il ne verra pas mes enfants.

400
00:23:01,459 --> 00:23:02,746
Je donnerai tout...

401
00:23:04,766 --> 00:23:06,608
Tout pour l'avoir.

402
00:23:06,733 --> 00:23:10,483
Tu parles de 10 ou 15 bonnes années.
Je parle d'une vie entière.

403
00:23:10,608 --> 00:23:13,808
Si on me donnait la chance
de l'avoir pour tout ça...

404
00:23:32,290 --> 00:23:35,367
Même si elle a changé,
ça n'efface pas ce qu'elle a fait.

405
00:23:36,273 --> 00:23:38,124
Elle peut aussi être pardonnée.

406
00:23:40,681 --> 00:23:42,754
Je ne sais pas si j'en suis capable.

407
00:23:44,186 --> 00:23:45,586
Tu m'as pardonnée.

408
00:23:52,978 --> 00:23:54,390
Je dois revoir mon timing.

409
00:23:55,371 --> 00:23:56,809
Cette fois j'ai mon pantalon.

410
00:23:57,810 --> 00:23:58,811
Oui, merci.

411
00:23:58,979 --> 00:24:00,329
Non, merci à toi.

412
00:24:01,003 --> 00:24:02,774
Mari numéro deux. Approche.

413
00:24:06,395 --> 00:24:07,862
Où t'a-t-il embrassé ?

414
00:24:11,444 --> 00:24:12,536
En quel honneur ?

415
00:24:12,661 --> 00:24:15,119
Pour avoir parlé à Charlotte.
Tu l'as convaincue ?

416
00:24:16,435 --> 00:24:18,873
- Je lui ai parlé.
- Merci.

417
00:24:20,895 --> 00:24:23,211
- Quand vas-tu au commissariat ?
- Pour quoi ?

418
00:24:23,379 --> 00:24:24,962
Pour l'identification.

419
00:24:25,130 --> 00:24:27,048
Elle veut que tu l'accompagnes.

420
00:24:28,738 --> 00:24:30,676
Alors oui, bien sûr j'irai.

421
00:24:39,895 --> 00:24:42,190
Ta mère m'a dit
que tu faisais tes devoirs ici.

422
00:24:42,315 --> 00:24:43,365
C'est vrai.

423
00:24:44,450 --> 00:24:45,700
Je les faisais.

424
00:24:46,443 --> 00:24:49,487
J'essaye de savoir si les attaques
de ma mère se rapprochent.

425
00:24:51,912 --> 00:24:53,262
Je crois que oui.

426
00:24:54,462 --> 00:24:55,868
Tu prends bien soin d'elle.

427
00:24:56,283 --> 00:24:59,705
On prend soin l'une de l'autre.
C'est ma mère, vous savez ?

428
00:24:59,873 --> 00:25:01,124
En fait non.

429
00:25:01,292 --> 00:25:02,766
Je suis pas vraiment...

430
00:25:03,043 --> 00:25:05,878
ma mère et moi
ne sommes pas proches.

431
00:25:06,324 --> 00:25:07,755
Donc pour moi,

432
00:25:07,923 --> 00:25:10,758
dix bonnes années avec ta mère
me semblent beaucoup.

433
00:25:11,957 --> 00:25:13,970
Mais la relation que vous avez...

434
00:25:14,138 --> 00:25:15,638
Ma mère est géniale,

435
00:25:16,492 --> 00:25:17,348
courageuse.

436
00:25:19,143 --> 00:25:20,793
Tout ça ne me gêne pas.

437
00:25:21,590 --> 00:25:22,603
Vraiment.

438
00:25:22,771 --> 00:25:24,671
Je suis sûre que c'est vrai,

439
00:25:25,186 --> 00:25:27,733
c'est pourquoi tu mérites
d'avoir ton mot à dire.

440
00:25:30,220 --> 00:25:32,572
À sa place, tu dirais quoi ?

441
00:25:36,639 --> 00:25:37,952
Numéro 1, avancez.

442
00:25:43,538 --> 00:25:44,834
Numéro 1, reculez.

443
00:25:45,184 --> 00:25:46,775
Numéro 2, avancez.

444
00:25:49,686 --> 00:25:51,073
Reculez, numéro 2.

445
00:25:51,198 --> 00:25:52,592
Numéro 3, avancez.

446
00:25:58,088 --> 00:26:00,141
Numéro 3, reculez. Numéro 4...

447
00:26:00,835 --> 00:26:01,835
avancez.

448
00:26:11,281 --> 00:26:12,236
Il est pas là.

449
00:26:14,365 --> 00:26:15,134
Sûre ?

450
00:26:18,315 --> 00:26:19,327
Certaine.

451
00:26:32,049 --> 00:26:33,614
- Alors ?
- Elle l'a regardé,

452
00:26:33,739 --> 00:26:35,176
et a dit que c'était pas lui.

453
00:26:35,530 --> 00:26:36,427
Elle l'a vu.

454
00:26:36,943 --> 00:26:39,013
- Elle sait que c'est lui.
- Plus maintenant.

455
00:26:40,458 --> 00:26:41,265
Et Lee ?

456
00:26:43,841 --> 00:26:44,769
Demandez-lui.

457
00:26:46,911 --> 00:26:48,564
Vous ne vous lassez pas d'être ici.

458
00:26:48,732 --> 00:26:50,244
Je préférerais être ailleurs.

459
00:26:50,369 --> 00:26:52,265
Alors on a quelque chose en commun.

460
00:26:54,044 --> 00:26:56,822
Vous récidiverez.
Vous violerez une autre femme.

461
00:27:00,889 --> 00:27:02,328
Vous savez pas si c'est vrai.

462
00:27:03,218 --> 00:27:05,408
Quand bien même,
c'est pas dit que je le referai.

463
00:27:05,533 --> 00:27:07,583
Vous pensez qu'en le disant
ça n'arrivera pas ?

464
00:27:07,960 --> 00:27:10,086
Ces sentiments sont là.
Quand ils remonteront...

465
00:27:11,228 --> 00:27:12,505
On sait ce qui arrivera.

466
00:27:14,741 --> 00:27:16,092
Vous ne me connaissez pas.

467
00:27:30,949 --> 00:27:33,264
C'était lui, non ? Le numéro 4.

468
00:27:36,762 --> 00:27:37,962
Je t'ai vue.

469
00:27:38,699 --> 00:27:41,035
Ta réaction quand il a avancé,
ta façon de le regarder.

470
00:27:41,160 --> 00:27:43,005
C'était lui qui t'a attaquée.

471
00:27:43,130 --> 00:27:44,280
J'ai dit non.

472
00:27:45,914 --> 00:27:48,332
Tu m'as pas amenée
pour un soutien moral.

473
00:27:48,866 --> 00:27:51,585
Tu voulais un témoin
qui dirait à Cooper que t'as essayé,

474
00:27:51,710 --> 00:27:54,352
car s'il avait été là,
il aurait vu ta réaction,

475
00:27:54,477 --> 00:27:56,241
et il aurait su aussi.

476
00:27:56,467 --> 00:27:58,634
Écoute-moi.
Je suis passée par là, et c'est dur...

477
00:27:58,802 --> 00:28:01,852
J'en peux plus
d'entendre parler de ton viol.

478
00:28:02,556 --> 00:28:04,932
C'était il y a 20 ans,
et tu en parles encore,

479
00:28:05,100 --> 00:28:08,311
comment tu t'en es sortie. Vive toi.
C'est ce que tu veux entendre ?

480
00:28:09,855 --> 00:28:12,467
Si tu veux mon avis,
tu ne t'en es pas totalement remise.

481
00:28:12,592 --> 00:28:14,042
Tu ne vas pas bien.

482
00:28:14,859 --> 00:28:15,985
T'es sur les nerfs,

483
00:28:16,153 --> 00:28:19,350
névrosée, et tu mets ton nez
dans les affaires des autres.

484
00:28:19,475 --> 00:28:22,283
C'est ce que tu fais,
et j'en ai marre !

485
00:28:42,804 --> 00:28:46,404
J'ai lu le dossier de ma mère.
Je crois avoir trouvé un truc.

486
00:28:47,260 --> 00:28:50,102
Je vois une broncho-pneumopathie
chronique obstructive.

487
00:28:50,270 --> 00:28:52,605
Et la preuve
d'une athérosclérose cardiaque.

488
00:28:52,773 --> 00:28:55,983
Ce qui est normal
pour une fumeuse de l'âge de ta mère.

489
00:28:56,437 --> 00:28:58,611
Je vois une fibrillation ventriculaire
récurrente.

490
00:28:59,828 --> 00:29:02,488
Ce qui est une condition
potentiellement mortelle,

491
00:29:02,613 --> 00:29:05,076
et je ne vois aucune preuve de ça.

492
00:29:05,244 --> 00:29:08,621
Ça demanderait un défibrillateur
automatique implanté chirurgicalement,

493
00:29:08,789 --> 00:29:11,665
qu'ils ne peuvent surveiller en prison,
si elle en a besoin.

494
00:29:12,459 --> 00:29:15,836
Ils la relâcheront probablement
pour raisons humanitaires.

495
00:29:17,381 --> 00:29:20,043
Je n'ai pas le droit de le recommander.
Même famille.

496
00:29:20,168 --> 00:29:21,550
Mais toi, tu peux.

497
00:29:24,079 --> 00:29:25,429
Je sais ce que je demande.

498
00:29:32,646 --> 00:29:34,480
Voilà mon en-tête.
Écris ce que tu veux,

499
00:29:34,648 --> 00:29:35,748
je signerai.

500
00:29:54,073 --> 00:29:55,209
Je vais boire.

501
00:30:25,212 --> 00:30:29,076
Si je donne ça à Sam, il signera.
Je pense pouvoir la faire sortir.

502
00:30:31,223 --> 00:30:32,538
T'es sûr de le vouloir ?

503
00:30:33,783 --> 00:30:34,790
Je crois.

504
00:30:36,960 --> 00:30:39,323
- Et tu es d'accord avec le fait...
- De mentir ?

505
00:30:39,448 --> 00:30:42,017
Si je veux la faire sortir,
j'ai pas le choix.

506
00:30:42,142 --> 00:30:44,842
Des fois les mensonges blessent,
des fois ils protègent.

507
00:30:47,223 --> 00:30:50,681
Charlotte a pas identifié délibérément
son agresseur. Elle a menti.

508
00:30:51,350 --> 00:30:52,183
Pourquoi ?

509
00:30:52,351 --> 00:30:54,101

180
00:08:25,506 --> 00:08:28,642
you can just make them stop?
But it's not that simple.

181
00:08:28,709 --> 00:08:31,144
The scarring that's causing
your mom's seizures is also

182
00:08:31,211 --> 00:08:33,614
very close to
the motor center of the brain.

183
00:08:33,680 --> 00:08:36,650
What--what--
what does that mean?
Dr. Shepherd
can explain the risks.

184
00:08:36,717 --> 00:08:39,353
Your mom could wind up
paralyzed in the arm or face.

185
00:08:39,419 --> 00:08:41,421
She could have an aphasia--
difficulty speaking

186
00:08:41,488 --> 00:08:42,055
or processing speech--

187
00:08:42,122 --> 00:08:45,092
and in very rare cases,
there is partial blindness.

188
00:08:45,158 --> 00:08:47,361
But these are
worst-case scenarios.

189
00:08:47,427 --> 00:08:50,130
More likely--I cut, the seizures
stop, your mom is fine.

190
00:08:50,197 --> 00:08:53,133
And if I don't do
the surgery?

191
00:08:53,200 --> 00:08:55,135
Well, the seizures
could get worse.

192
00:08:55,202 --> 00:08:57,771
They put you at risk
for head Injury and falls.

193
00:08:57,838 --> 00:08:59,139
And if they continue

194
00:08:59,206 --> 00:09:01,208
with the intensity
that we've witnessed,

195
00:09:01,275 --> 00:09:03,210
you will likely have
irreversible brain damage.

196
00:09:03,277 --> 00:09:05,212
Paralyzed today
or demented TOMORROW--

197
00:09:05,279 --> 00:09:06,847
lovely choice.

198
00:09:06,914 --> 00:09:09,850
How long before the seizures
cause Permanent brain damage?

199
00:09:09,917 --> 00:09:11,485
10, 15 years.

200
00:09:11,552 --> 00:09:14,721
Well, in ten years,

201
00:09:14,788 --> 00:09:16,056
you'll be 25.

202
00:09:16,123 --> 00:09:19,059
So if you didn't want to do
the surgery now, you could...

203
00:09:19,126 --> 00:09:22,429
do it in a year,
five years from now.

204
00:09:22,496 --> 00:09:25,799
And be that much worse off.
It depends on when you want
to take the risk.

205
00:09:25,866 --> 00:09:28,502
I'm offering you a cure.

206
00:09:32,072 --> 00:09:33,807
(Sharon) No.

207
00:09:33,874 --> 00:09:37,678
No surgery.

208
00:09:37,744 --> 00:09:40,614
Look, is there a chance
for an adverse result? Yes.

209
00:09:40,681 --> 00:09:42,616
But... I mean,
there is a better chance

210
00:09:42,683 --> 00:09:45,052
that I can make you better,
completely.

211
00:09:45,118 --> 00:09:47,421
I think
that Sharon was clear.

212
00:09:47,487 --> 00:09:50,023
You and me...

213
00:09:50,090 --> 00:09:54,261
we're doing all right
the way things are, right?

214
00:09:54,328 --> 00:09:56,730
Yeah.

215
00:09:56,797 --> 00:09:58,799
Yeah, we are.

216
00:09:58,866 --> 00:10:00,234
(chuckles)

217
00:10:00,300 --> 00:10:04,571
(monitor beeping rhythmically)

218
00:10:09,109 --> 00:10:11,044
You are not a neurosurgeon.

219
00:10:11,111 --> 00:10:13,046
You were promising her
a cure.

220
00:10:13,113 --> 00:10:16,650
Because I can give her one
because I am a neurosurgeon.

221
00:10:16,717 --> 00:10:18,018
Look, I don't tell you
how to handle vaginas.

222
00:10:18,085 --> 00:10:22,489
Okay. If you cut and it
goes bad, what happens to Julie?

223
00:10:22,556 --> 00:10:24,057
If I don't cut,
what happens to the mother?

224
00:10:24,124 --> 00:10:27,094
Right now,
nothing they can't handle.
How risky is the procedure?

225
00:10:27,160 --> 00:10:29,596
Well, it's risky enough
that the mother could wind up

226
00:10:29,663 --> 00:10:30,964
paralyzed or blind,

227
00:10:31,031 --> 00:10:33,300
which means that
her 15-year-old daughter

228
00:10:33,367 --> 00:10:36,170
would wind up taking care of her
instead of the other way around.

229
00:10:36,236 --> 00:10:38,038
I mean, look, better that
they have five or ten

230
00:10:38,105 --> 00:10:41,041
good years together
than none at all.
I am offering them
a lifetime together,

231
00:10:41,108 --> 00:10:44,044
not just a few years.
Does the daughter
even want the surgery?

232
00:10:44,111 --> 00:10:46,980
No.
Because she's taking the lead
from her mom.

233
00:10:47,047 --> 00:10:48,849
No, Amelia. She heard you.

234
00:10:48,916 --> 00:10:52,119
She heard both of us,
and she made a decision.
You stacked the deck.

235
00:10:52,186 --> 00:10:54,321
Stacked the deck? I gave them
my professional opinion--

236
00:10:54,388 --> 00:10:56,390
like I said. You are not
an neurosurgeon.

237
00:11:02,429 --> 00:11:04,898
Did either of you
tell Cooper?

238
00:11:04,965 --> 00:11:06,567
What?
(Violet) No.

239
00:11:06,633 --> 00:11:08,035
Absolutely not,
Charlotte.

240
00:11:08,101 --> 00:11:11,104
I didn't tell Cooper,
but I-I told the cops.

241
00:11:14,174 --> 00:11:15,943
The police brought me in

242
00:11:16,009 --> 00:11:18,679
to interview a guy
on the night of your...

243
00:11:18,745 --> 00:11:20,047
he admitted
to having attacked a woman.

244
00:11:20,113 --> 00:11:24,117
He was--he was arrested
not far from the hospital.

245
00:11:26,820 --> 00:11:28,689
Sheldon knows.

246
00:11:28,755 --> 00:11:31,325
Is there anyone you people
haven't told?

247
00:11:32,826 --> 00:11:35,062
I...

248
00:11:35,128 --> 00:11:37,064
I sent the police
pelvic washings that I took.

249
00:11:37,130 --> 00:11:40,167
I know you said no rape kit,
but--

250
00:11:40,234 --> 00:11:42,035
please tell me
you did not do that.
You were in shock, Charlotte.

251
00:11:42,102 --> 00:11:45,606
I wanted to preserve
all of your options--
shut up.

252
00:11:45,672 --> 00:11:48,509
Just shut up.

253
00:11:49,109 --> 00:11:52,779
They can't just arrest
the guy?

254
00:11:52,846 --> 00:11:56,683
We can't get him off the streets
without Charlotte's help.

255
00:11:56,750 --> 00:12:00,420
So that's why you're here...
because of mom?

256
00:12:00,487 --> 00:12:03,056
Well, it's not like I haven't
thought about getting in touch.

257
00:12:03,123 --> 00:12:05,826
I'm sure you have, too.

258
00:12:05,893 --> 00:12:08,595
She's dying.
Slowly, but she's dying.

259
00:12:08,662 --> 00:12:10,030
And no one in there
gives a damn.

260
00:12:10,097 --> 00:12:13,901
But you can help her.
How?

261
00:12:13,967 --> 00:12:15,903
You know what
a humanitarian release is,

262
00:12:15,969 --> 00:12:17,971
right?

263
00:12:20,007 --> 00:12:22,409
You know, I've thought
about calling you.

264
00:12:22,476 --> 00:12:25,846
Whatever problems you and I have
are because of her.

265
00:12:25,913 --> 00:12:28,382
But for you to show up here
after all these years

266
00:12:28,448 --> 00:12:31,985
and try to guilt me
into some--
I'm not asking you to do
anything wrong. Please...

267
00:12:32,052 --> 00:12:34,054
just go see her.

268
00:12:35,923 --> 00:12:38,158
That's all I'm asking.

269
00:12:44,431 --> 00:12:47,434
Hey. I want you to
convince her to do the lineup.

270
00:12:47,501 --> 00:12:49,036
Come on, Cooper.
Maybe she'll listen to you.

271
00:12:49,102 --> 00:12:53,473
She sure as hell
won't listen to me.
It's not my place to
tell Charlotte to do anything.

272
00:12:53,540 --> 00:12:56,410
She hasn't asked me for help.
Like that's ever stopped you.

273
00:12:56,476 --> 00:12:59,012
It's the right thing.
You went after Katie.
I wanted revenge.

274
00:12:59,079 --> 00:13:01,248
So what's wrong with that?

275
00:13:01,315 --> 00:13:03,250
Well, in the end,
that would've hurt me more,

276
00:13:03,317 --> 00:13:05,252
so I forgave her
and I let it go.

277
00:13:05,319 --> 00:13:07,254
Well, I want Charlotte
to have the same option.

278
00:13:07,321 --> 00:13:10,057
I know her, Violet. She needs
to look that bastard in the eye

279
00:13:10,123 --> 00:13:13,260
and say, "it was you."

280
00:13:14,094 --> 00:13:17,297
Hey.
Hey.

281
00:13:17,364 --> 00:13:19,299
Heard you, uh, had a Visitor.

282
00:13:19,366 --> 00:13:22,002
Hard to keep
a secret around here.

283
00:13:22,069 --> 00:13:25,038
Yeah. I was surprised.
You, uh...

284
00:13:25,105 --> 00:13:27,674
you never mentioned
you had a brother.

285
00:13:27,741 --> 00:13:29,943
I haven't talked to him
in alongtime,

286
00:13:30,010 --> 00:13:31,111
not since my mother...

287
00:13:33,113 --> 00:13:38,018
my mother's in prison...
for manslaughter.

288
00:13:38,085 --> 00:13:40,721
For...
(plastic crinkles)

289
00:13:40,787 --> 00:13:43,023
Oh. I, uh...
I can't imagine.

290
00:13:43,090 --> 00:13:46,093
Now she's sick.
He shows up out of the blue.

291
00:13:46,159 --> 00:13:48,862
He wants me to help her
get a humanitarian release.

292
00:13:48,929 --> 00:13:50,731
Are you going to?

293
00:13:50,797 --> 00:13:52,733
I don't know.
(containers clattering)

294
00:13:52,799 --> 00:13:54,468
What's your mother like?

295
00:13:54,535 --> 00:13:56,069
Uh... my--

296
00:13:56,136 --> 00:13:58,839
I don't know.
She's, uh, she's a mom.

297
00:13:58,906 --> 00:14:03,610
My mother just...
didn't really give a damn.

298
00:14:03,677 --> 00:14:06,880
Well, My mom used to say,

299
00:14:06,947 --> 00:14:10,217
"people do the best they can
when they can."

300
00:14:10,284 --> 00:14:12,119
Her best wasn't anything.

301
00:14:12,186 --> 00:14:13,053
You think she changed?

302
00:14:13,120 --> 00:14:16,023
I don't know.
Well, sometimes
people can surprise you.

303
00:14:16,089 --> 00:14:19,326
(utensil clatters)

304
00:14:19,393 --> 00:14:21,028
(indistinct conversations)

305
00:14:21,094 --> 00:14:24,097
(woman speaking indistinctly
over p.A.)

306
00:14:26,500 --> 00:14:29,736
homework?

307
00:14:29,803 --> 00:14:32,639
Oh. (chuckles)
My model U.N. Speech.

308
00:14:32,706 --> 00:14:34,942
Mm. That's a lot of work...

309
00:14:35,008 --> 00:14:37,044
on top of what's going on
with your mom.

310
00:14:37,110 --> 00:14:41,148
I've been through worse.
(chuckles)

311
00:14:41,215 --> 00:14:43,617
My dad died when I was 5.

312
00:14:44,985 --> 00:14:48,589
And suddenly, I was always
worried about my mom...

313
00:14:48,655 --> 00:14:50,924
You know, how sad she was

314
00:14:50,991 --> 00:14:54,361
and how much she missed him.

315
00:14:54,428 --> 00:14:57,764
And I stopped being her kid.

316
00:14:57,831 --> 00:15:00,067
You know, she was always
trying to keep me busy,

317
00:15:00,133 --> 00:15:02,736
thinking that... You know,
then I wouldn't worry.

318
00:15:02,803 --> 00:15:05,405
Same.
But then I was just
busy and worried,

319
00:15:05,472 --> 00:15:08,041
and after a while, it...

320
00:15:08,108 --> 00:15:11,411
well, it was all too much.

321
00:15:13,814 --> 00:15:15,782
I worry every day.

322
00:15:18,085 --> 00:15:20,153
Julie, listen to me.

323
00:15:20,220 --> 00:15:21,922
This procedure...

324
00:15:21,989 --> 00:15:24,558
your mom could live
the rest of her life

325
00:15:24,625 --> 00:15:27,127
without Ever having
another seizure.

326
00:15:27,194 --> 00:15:29,863
My mom thinks the surgery
is a mistake.

327
00:15:29,930 --> 00:15:31,465
And I-I...

328
00:15:31,532 --> 00:15:33,834
I want what she wants.

329
00:15:44,545 --> 00:15:46,280
Keep Your expectations low,
okay?

330
00:15:46,346 --> 00:15:48,315
And if you change your mind,
you know,

331
00:15:48,382 --> 00:15:51,051
you can always leave without
seeing her. That's okay.

332
00:15:51,118 --> 00:15:54,254
No harm done. You sure you
don't want me to go with you?
No, that's okay. I'll be fine.

333
00:15:54,321 --> 00:15:57,224
But thanks.
Okay. Anything else
I can do for you?

334
00:15:57,291 --> 00:15:59,226
When I get home tonight,

335
00:15:59,293 --> 00:16:01,028
I'm gonna... want nudity,

336
00:16:01,094 --> 00:16:03,597
all kinds of nudity.

337
00:16:03,664 --> 00:16:05,032
Absolutely.
(chuckles)

338
00:16:05,098 --> 00:16:08,235
I'm proud of you.

339
00:16:23,750 --> 00:16:25,018
What?

340
00:16:25,085 --> 00:16:29,256
I need to say something that
you're not gonna want to hear.

341
00:16:29,323 --> 00:16:31,058
Then how about
you don't say it?

342
00:16:31,124 --> 00:16:34,528
Can you listen, please?

343
00:16:34,595 --> 00:16:37,030
(sighs)

344
00:16:37,097 --> 00:16:39,066
You got 60 seconds.

345
00:16:39,132 --> 00:16:41,935
Okay.

346
00:16:42,002 --> 00:16:44,071
Um...

347
00:16:47,107 --> 00:16:51,678
when they prosecuted...

348
00:16:51,745 --> 00:16:53,981
my rapist,

349
00:16:54,047 --> 00:16:55,983
um, there was this woman

350
00:16:56,049 --> 00:16:57,985
in the gallery
of the courtroom.

351
00:16:58,051 --> 00:17:00,053
And she watched,
and she listened

352
00:17:00,120 --> 00:17:02,723
to what I had gone through,
and she came every day.

353
00:17:02,789 --> 00:17:04,725
And then at the end
of the trial,

354
00:17:04,791 --> 00:17:06,727
She, uh,
introduced herself to me,

355
00:17:06,793 --> 00:17:08,061
and she thanked me for, uh,

356
00:17:08,128 --> 00:17:12,699
for having the courage
that she didn't have.

357
00:17:12,766 --> 00:17:16,803
Turns out that he had...
raped her, too,

358
00:17:16,870 --> 00:17:18,405
about six months before.

359
00:17:18,472 --> 00:17:20,774
And I stared at her

360
00:17:20,841 --> 00:17:24,044
and I just wanted to...

361
00:17:24,111 --> 00:17:26,513
slap her,

362
00:17:26,580 --> 00:17:29,816
because I knew that
if she had Come forward

363
00:17:29,883 --> 00:17:31,818
then maybe--maybe--

364
00:17:31,885 --> 00:17:33,820
I would not have been raped.

365
00:17:33,887 --> 00:17:35,355
Screw you, Violet.

366
00:17:35,422 --> 00:17:37,925
Charlotte...
the lineup is important.

367
00:17:37,991 --> 00:17:41,895
No matter how hard it is,
I can tell you from experience

368
00:17:41,962 --> 00:17:43,897
that it is
the right thing to do.

369
00:17:43,964 --> 00:17:46,600
Time's up. Get out.

370
00:17:46,667 --> 00:17:49,670
(keyboard keys clicking)

371
00:17:53,473 --> 00:17:55,943
(door opens)

372
00:17:56,009 --> 00:17:57,945
(footsteps retreat)

373
00:17:58,011 --> 00:18:00,180
(door closes)

374
00:18:02,583 --> 00:18:03,050
(buzzer sounds)

375
00:18:03,116 --> 00:18:05,519
(speaks indistinctly)

376
00:18:05,586 --> 00:18:07,721
(emergency radio chatter)

377
00:18:07,788 --> 00:18:09,890
(clatters)

378
00:18:09,957 --> 00:18:13,460
(monitor beeping rhythmically)

379
00:18:14,127 --> 00:18:17,497
(door clatters)

380
00:18:17,564 --> 00:18:19,499
(man speaks indistinctly)

381
00:18:19,566 --> 00:18:22,503
(beeping continues)

382
00:18:22,569 --> 00:18:24,638
(door closes)

383
00:18:24,705 --> 00:18:26,006
(whispering) Hi, mom.

384
00:18:26,073 --> 00:18:28,342
Hi.

385
00:18:28,408 --> 00:18:30,677
(beeping continues)

386
00:18:30,744 --> 00:18:32,045
Hello, Frances.

387
00:18:32,112 --> 00:18:35,849
I was hoping you'd come.

388
00:18:49,263 --> 00:18:50,964
(monitor beeping rhythmically)

389
00:18:51,031 --> 00:18:54,067
You look good, Peter.
You filled out.

390
00:18:54,134 --> 00:18:55,035
(Adam) It's Pete now.

391
00:18:55,102 --> 00:18:58,038
Oh, that suits you better.

392
00:18:58,105 --> 00:19:02,009
Okay. Any chest pains,
palpitations?

393
00:19:02,075 --> 00:19:04,011
Adam tells me
you're remarried

394
00:19:04,077 --> 00:19:06,980
and you have a son.

395
00:19:07,047 --> 00:19:09,449
I'd love to hear about
your family.

396
00:19:09,516 --> 00:19:12,119
Well, his wife's a doctor.

397
00:19:12,186 --> 00:19:14,755
Violet. And their
little boy Lucas.

398
00:19:14,821 --> 00:19:16,156
Lucas.
Mm-hmm.

399
00:19:16,223 --> 00:19:19,927
That's a good name
for a boy.

400
00:19:19,993 --> 00:19:21,929
Well, your chart is a mess.

401
00:19:21,995 --> 00:19:24,231
Have you ever heard
any of your doctors talk about

402
00:19:24,298 --> 00:19:27,000
elevated blood pressure,
high levels of cholesterol,

403
00:19:27,067 --> 00:19:29,036
or triglycerides?
I hardly ever see a doctor.

404
00:19:29,102 --> 00:19:31,038
They don't pay
much attention to me.

405
00:19:31,104 --> 00:19:34,641
You know, when you're old
and in prison,

406
00:19:34,708 --> 00:19:37,211
somebody Comes and checks to see
you're breathing,

407
00:19:37,277 --> 00:19:40,314
then they just move along.
Uh, and that's why
Pete's here,

408
00:19:40,380 --> 00:19:42,349
'cause I told him
how they treat you in here

409
00:19:42,416 --> 00:19:44,384
and--and how bad
you've been feeling.

410
00:19:44,451 --> 00:19:46,987
Let her talk
for herself, Adam.
Your brother's right.

411
00:19:47,054 --> 00:19:49,656
He's trying to do his job.
Just let him.

412
00:19:49,723 --> 00:19:52,726
You still smoking
and drinking?

413
00:19:52,793 --> 00:19:54,027
Not officially.
Some things don't change.

414
00:19:54,094 --> 00:19:57,865
No matter how hard
you try.

415
00:19:57,931 --> 00:20:00,100
(beeping continues)

416
00:20:02,503 --> 00:20:05,839
I--it's just
that we're all together again.

417
00:20:05,906 --> 00:20:07,040
You're a doctor.

418
00:20:07,107 --> 00:20:10,043
And he's a lawyer.
(chuckles)

419
00:20:10,110 --> 00:20:13,447
Would you ever imagine?

420
00:20:15,015 --> 00:20:16,650
(voice breaks) It's nice.

421
00:20:16,717 --> 00:20:18,919
(beeping continues)

422
00:20:18,986 --> 00:20:21,021
I'm sorry. I won't...

423
00:20:21,088 --> 00:20:25,225
I'm sorry.

424
00:20:25,292 --> 00:20:27,995
(coughs)

425
00:20:30,697 --> 00:20:31,999
(keys jangle)

426
00:20:32,065 --> 00:20:33,634
(lock clicks)

427
00:20:33,700 --> 00:20:34,935
(keys jangle)

428
00:20:35,002 --> 00:20:37,104
(door closes)
Hey.

429
00:20:41,508 --> 00:20:43,343
(keys clatter)

430
00:20:43,410 --> 00:20:44,044
okay.

431
00:20:44,111 --> 00:20:46,346
Okay what?

432
00:20:46,413 --> 00:20:48,282
I'll do the lineup.

433
00:20:52,252 --> 00:20:53,754
(sighs)

434
00:20:53,820 --> 00:20:55,556
(kisses)

435
00:20:55,622 --> 00:20:58,525
I will call detective price.
When do you want to go in?

436
00:20:58,592 --> 00:21:01,528
I thought I'd ask Violet
to go with me.

437
00:21:01,595 --> 00:21:03,897
Oh. Why?

438
00:21:03,964 --> 00:21:07,167
Well, she's been through
the system... with Katie.

439
00:21:07,234 --> 00:21:09,603
I thought it would
make things easier for me

440
00:21:09,670 --> 00:21:11,104
to have her there.

441
00:21:11,171 --> 00:21:13,106
Is that okay?

442
00:21:13,173 --> 00:21:16,109
Sure. Of course.
Whatever it takes.

443
00:21:20,247 --> 00:21:22,850
She's different, right?

444
00:21:22,916 --> 00:21:25,485
35 years in jail,
it changed her.

445
00:21:25,552 --> 00:21:27,054
How could it not?

446
00:21:27,120 --> 00:21:28,889
It doesn't change
what happened.

447
00:21:28,956 --> 00:21:30,891
I'm not saying it does.

448
00:21:30,958 --> 00:21:34,828
But we can't
let her die in there.

449
00:21:34,895 --> 00:21:36,396
Wasn't all bad.

450
00:21:36,463 --> 00:21:38,699
Remember the swimming?

451
00:21:38,765 --> 00:21:40,067
She used to let us swim
in Mr. Kramer's pool

452
00:21:40,133 --> 00:21:43,737
whenever he went out of town.
We were
breaking and entering.

453
00:21:43,804 --> 00:21:45,739
Yeah, but it was
still swimming.

454
00:21:45,806 --> 00:21:47,708
You loved it.
We all did.

455
00:21:47,774 --> 00:21:49,309
A hot summer night,

456
00:21:49,376 --> 00:21:51,879
just the three of us,
swimming and laughing.

457
00:21:51,945 --> 00:21:53,814
Stop it.
Stop what?

458
00:21:53,881 --> 00:21:56,483
Stop trying to sell her to me
like a used car salesman.

459
00:21:56,550 --> 00:21:58,051
I was there. I remember
everything. That's the problem.

460
00:21:58,118 --> 00:22:01,688
I remember everything.
Well, maybe she'd do it
differently if she could.

461
00:22:01,755 --> 00:22:03,924
Maybe she wouldn't.
I don't know.

462
00:22:03,991 --> 00:22:06,326
You know something?
You have a chance

463
00:22:06,393 --> 00:22:08,729
to do something right
for this family.

464
00:22:08,795 --> 00:22:11,765
So if you don't care about her,
that's fine.

465
00:22:11,832 --> 00:22:14,034
But you do this for me.

466
00:22:17,104 --> 00:22:19,039
(knock on doorjamb)

467
00:22:19,106 --> 00:22:20,941
Hey.

468
00:22:21,008 --> 00:22:22,409
Hey.

469
00:22:22,476 --> 00:22:23,043
So I spoke to Julie,

470
00:22:23,110 --> 00:22:26,113
and I think she wants her mother
to have the surgery now.

471
00:22:26,180 --> 00:22:28,749
First of all, you had
no right to talk to her

472
00:22:28,815 --> 00:22:30,918
without her mother's consent.
Second...

473
00:22:30,984 --> 00:22:32,753
how do you know?

474
00:22:32,819 --> 00:22:35,055
Well, it wasn't explicit,
but I could tell.

475
00:22:35,122 --> 00:22:37,057
Even if you're right,
Sharon doesn't want it.

476
00:22:37,124 --> 00:22:39,459
Sharon doesn't want it
because of Julie,

477
00:22:39,526 --> 00:22:42,129
because you scared her
and made her feel like

478
00:22:42,196 --> 00:22:44,064
she was placing her daughter
in a terrible position.
Amelia--

479
00:22:44,131 --> 00:22:47,968
no, if we do nothing, Julie
is gonna wake up in ten years,

480
00:22:48,035 --> 00:22:51,171
and her mother
is gonna be a vegetable.
But Julie will be an adult.

481
00:22:51,238 --> 00:22:53,674
I'm an adult.

482
00:22:53,740 --> 00:22:56,410
Do you think that means
I miss my father any less?

483
00:22:56,476 --> 00:22:58,045
(voice breaking) He never
saw me become a surgeon.

484
00:22:58,111 --> 00:23:00,948
He is not gonna walk me
down the aisle.

485
00:23:01,014 --> 00:23:02,983
He is not gonna see my kids.

486
00:23:03,050 --> 00:23:04,985
I would give anything,
Addison...

487
00:23:05,052 --> 00:23:07,054
(crying)
Anything to have him.

488
00:23:07,120 --> 00:23:09,056
You're talking about
10 or 15 good years.

489
00:23:09,122 --> 00:23:11,058
I am talking about a lifetime.

490
00:23:11,124 --> 00:23:13,060
If somebody would've
given me the chance

491
00:23:13,126 --> 00:23:15,329
to have him for all of that...

492
00:23:19,933 --> 00:23:21,235
(sniffles)

493
00:23:21,301 --> 00:23:23,904
(footsteps retreat)

494
00:23:31,178 --> 00:23:32,045
Even if she's changed,

495
00:23:32,112 --> 00:23:35,048
it doesn't mean that
what she did didn't happen.

496
00:23:35,115 --> 00:23:37,885
But it also doesn't mean
she can't be forgiven.

497
00:23:39,786 --> 00:23:42,422
I don't know
if I can go that far.

498
00:23:42,489 --> 00:23:45,659
You forgave me.

499
00:23:51,098 --> 00:23:53,967
Oh! I gotta work
on my timing.

500
00:23:54,034 --> 00:23:57,471
Well, at least I got
my pants on this time.
(laughs)

501
00:23:57,538 --> 00:23:59,473
Yeah.
Thank you.

502
00:23:59,540 --> 00:24:01,542
No, thank you.
Hey, husband number two.

503
00:24:01,608 --> 00:24:03,510
Step forward. (chuckles)

504
00:24:03,577 --> 00:24:05,546
(inhales deeply)

505
00:24:05,612 --> 00:24:08,682
Which, uh,
cheek did he kiss?

506
00:24:08,749 --> 00:24:11,418
(laughs) What is that for?

507
00:24:11,485 --> 00:24:12,920
For talking to Charlotte.

508
00:24:12,986 --> 00:24:15,022
You did talk to her?
You convinced her?

509
00:24:15,088 --> 00:24:18,659
I spoke to her.
Oh, thank you.

510
00:24:18,725 --> 00:24:21,428
(sighs) What time
are you going to the station?

511
00:24:21,495 --> 00:24:22,029
What do you mean?

512
00:24:22,095 --> 00:24:24,731
For the lineup.

513
00:24:24,798 --> 00:24:27,868
Oh, Charlotte wants you to take
her. Did she not say anything?

514
00:24:27,935 --> 00:24:30,337
Uh, oh. Then I will.
Of course. I will.

515
00:24:30,404 --> 00:24:31,872
Yeah.

516
00:24:33,106 --> 00:24:35,943
(indistinct conversations)

517
00:24:36,009 --> 00:24:37,144
Hey.

518
00:24:37,211 --> 00:24:38,445
Hi.

519
00:24:38,512 --> 00:24:41,448
Your mom said you were
down here doing your homework.

520
00:24:41,515 --> 00:24:44,218
Yeah, I am. I was.

521
00:24:44,284 --> 00:24:46,053
I'm just--
I'm trying to figure out

522
00:24:46,119 --> 00:24:50,924
if my mom's seizures
are happening closer together.

523
00:24:50,991 --> 00:24:53,093
I-I-I think they are.

524
00:24:53,160 --> 00:24:55,562
You take good care of her,
don't you?

525
00:24:55,629 --> 00:24:57,564
